    People ask “why” in regards to events such as the Boston Marathon Bombings. The answer is more mundane than most are willing to accept. It’s merely another form of serial killing, except the killer uses a more spectacular event to carry out the deed instead of killing each person separately to savor each death and prolong the euphoria they feel of making a kill. Unfortunately after the case of Jack the Ripper the news media, psychiatrists and writers have cashed in to blur the lines for cause by assigning mystery and grand personas, or ingenuous conspiracy theories to a sociopathic mad dog.

    There is of course other reasons people and governments like to place reasons and names on the average mad dog cur that’s gone feral since by calling them terrorists, Islamic radicals, foreign agents and the like, ads significant importance to the legal authorities and the hunters of this common prey. Elevating everything to the level of international intrigue also helps to justify the enormous expenses spent to deal with what was nothing more than a couple of immigrants unable to fit in, armed with back packs and fireworks explosives. And now, the only living suspect is charged with using a weapon of mass destruction after killing three people with two pressure cookers filled with fireworks powders, nails and BBs. If these were weapons of mass destruction, assault weapons are as well, and being sold legally to almost anyone. These two bombers got lucky due to lax or no screening by Boston’s legal authorities.

    The most obvious part of this entire event is that we had two terrorists’ wannabes who encountered a city with little or no common sense. In the wake of this tragedy no one is willing to tell Boston the way it is because they were so naïve as to be retarded and it would be cruel to tell them they were at fault for grand stupidity. The video of the bombers carrying back packs was not all that I saw wrong with what was going on. My problem with it was the number of other people carrying back packs to an event where no coolers, back packs, boxes or bags should have been allowed, especially since it was a marathon, not a camping trip. RED FLAG! The second most obvious portion of this is there was no training by any legitimate terrorist organization by the sheer lack of deaths. The reality is more people would have been killed had the suspects used a car to drive over runners or spectators, no training necessary. This was an adolescent plot by a couple of wannabes in the hopes of getting their foot in the door of those with the real terrorist credentials.

    My opinion is that all mass murders are nothing more than serial killing by a different recipe. Causes may mask such reasons, or inspire the reporting media to write a favorable and memorable story of the deed, but there is nothing clever about killing an unsuspecting and unarmed victim. So what we have in these cases is the perverse gaming the system in which they will be judged.

    Recent information has turned my attention to what might be the case for serial killers and mass murderers, regardless of what cause they are hiding behind. Scientists have found Neanderthal genes among many people scattered throughout all societies around the planet now. Being scientifically minded I’ve always viewed the Neanderthal as a misunderstood and mistreated human ancestor who was always cruelly and coldly judged by scientists who have claimed he was truly not human. But his genes being mixed with those of millions of modern humans indicates there was interbreeding, even if it was forcible through rape or as an act of violence between warring factions. No one can deny the acts of serial killers who hunt and kill for sport and pleasure and the terrorists who answer societal problems through war, are acts beyond human norms. And the only reason such persons, possibly of Neanderthal descent get by with so much, is because they now contain so much appearance of the modern human species.

    Yes, some may think my statement in the above paragraph sounds like something straight from “Mein Kamph,” by Adolf Hitler. Unlike Hitler, I don’t assign non-human, Neanderthal-like behavior to a certain race of people, but to the varied and scattered millions of ancestors among all peoples of the earth. With this new information provided by scientists searching for the answers about the Neanderthals, I think I have to agree they are non-humans regardless of their appearance, language or reasons for not following the human blueprint. While I don’t agree with pre-testing of people for Neanderthal genes, I do feel that those who commit murder should be tested and given the death penalty if they prove positive for the gene. Using any other evidence to determine punishment such as emotional state and background is obviously failing to advance peace, prosperity and the future of normal human beings. And, I don’t think anyone can believe that a normal human being will hunt and indiscriminately murder and maim men, women and children they do not even know. As I have previously stated, my definition of evil is, humans hunting humans.

Adam Lanza, the young man who murdered twenty grade school children, six adults and then committed suicide on 12/14/12 is only the latest killers among the mass murderers and serial killers embedded within our society. At this time the so-called professionals of psychiatry are struggling to answer the question as to why such people leash out to harm society in the most horrific methods their minds can achieve with devices available to them to maximize their act. And of course, Adam Lanza’s act was given the one generic explanation immediately since it’s the most readily accepted, and that’s the one of EVIL visiting Sandy Hook School in Newtown, Connecticut.

As I’ve stated before, my scientific definition of evil is “humans hunting humans,” which is my universal interpretation not biased by religion or politics, and one that makes us more capable of understanding why serial killers and mass murderers kill. My definition may open the doors as to why these people behave the way they do, instead of keeping the answers in the dark of voodoo psychiatry in order to support an over paid and under achieving mental health profession. At this time I will give my opinion as to why Adam Lanza targeted his mother and the children and teachers at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

As it has been reported, Adam Lanza was a very intelligent young man who hadn’t been in any legal trouble, but was seen as reclusive and perhaps even nerdy due to his enjoyment of computers and technology. At age twenty I would suggest this is not the way he wanted to be viewed and I’m sure he too viewed himself in the same way. While this is not the end of the world to many other young people in the same category, it may have been unbearable for Adam Lanza, until his mind collapsed from his inability to change.

Without the social skills to change on his own, Adam Lanza decided to punish those who were not able to transform him, or who were to blame for molding him into who he was on that fatal Friday. His mother was the first to die since she was the first in line and first at fault for who he was and why he was stranded in his present condition. She had no transformative value. Secondly, the teaching community of Sandy Hook Elementary were also to blame since they too were in charge of his childhood transformation. And then, the twenty child victims he killed because they represented his childhood and were merely doomed to be like him based on his perspective. This is why Adam Lanza acted.

This interpretation is only a snapshot of what goes into a serial killer’s or mass murderers reasoning process, but many could be avoided if we had mental health professionals with as much insight as I have into such matters. The major problem with our legal and mental health systems is that they wait until after an act to perform in order to support their income. We are suffering from ineffective professionals whose information is based on their best guess. These people fail to identify or locate potential problems before they happen since problems fuel their income. The fact is serial killers and mass murderers exist within our societies unnoticed and undetected 99.9999 percent of their lives. And many die undetected. We must demand better of such mental health and legal professionals, or try new methods of detection.

As a writer of fiction, I base many of my works on real events, especially my horror stories since this mass murder definitely proves, real horror exists. But, I have studied such subjects far better than the high priced professionals society continues to follow regardless of the staggering rate of their failure. I would like to let my readers know that I feel I have worked out a process for identifying people early in their lives who have the potential for such harmful acts as hunting other humans. It is my intent to put this information together very soon and reveal it through a series of videos.

I think the most important factor I’ve revealed in my blog today is the need for transformative people who can bridge the gaps between useful information learned and how it can act as the vehicle to a place within society for those struggling with their internal identity.

There's no doubt serial killers have existed even before the dawn of civilization. Then these semi-human figures hunted other humans since humans have what humans want. I doubt even then this shrewish semi-human was much of a hunter, and was one more apt to wait and watch while men left to hunt game to attack when it was merely a matter of slaying women and children to acquire the needed sex, food and goods this inadequate person could not acquire on natural abilities. It is obvious such persons have always been hated and killed whenever possible throughout history, until Jack the Ripper. JTR marked a turning point in man's history, since society gave him a name and manufactured his cunning and stealthy persona to elevate him to super human status. I recommend going back to my first installment and read my more appropriate version of who JTR was and what was the more likely scenario of what happened to him.

The one thing I'm bringing to light in the above paragraph is, society has adopted JTR and made him a more likable and tolerable character. Perhaps this was done because he did after all target only prostitutes according to the tale, those more disposable to a Victorian Christian populace which may be what has eventually led to anti-execution movements, since the argument is, "No one is all bad." Or, are they? Was this a time when the legal system accepted the killer's point of view, "that some people deserve to die." Of course such people never feel they ever meet these criteria and the hunter and the hunted exist somewhere beneath their controlling norm.

Yes, JTR is now in their controlling norm in all forms of media where monies can be earned from such killer's exploits. Everything from tabloids, alarm systems, to another sub-society of jailers and keepers whose lives depend on the paychecks such persons provide. And these items are only the tip of the iceberg since where would the movie industry be without the unstoppable, stalking, stealthy killing machine of JTR clones who grow bigger and greater with each generation of writers?

The question becomes, has the world developed an affection for this non-human who only exists in the shadows where hookers dwell? Has the JTRs of life and legend been allowed existence since they are the greater deterrent against sin than police and clergy? Whatever the case, they exist, and now exist in ever greater numbers than at any time throughout man's history. Many are now known as terrorists.The problem now is, the JTRs don't just hunt prostitutes, they hunt everyone who is available.

Jack the Ripper is perhaps the most famous serial killer or murderer of all time although he only killed five women we know of. When presented with that figure isn't it obvious something is wrong since today's news is loaded with serial killers who have killed dozens of people. Some have done so on a single outing. Now one has to ask the question, "What's wrong with this picture?" First, it sets a precedent for making the criminal mind as one that is a clever, calculating killing machine when it comes to serial killers, and secondly inflates the importance or need of police detectives. I think without much coaxing I can lead one to see that the JTR case is merely a story like any story run in tabloids like those of the now famous tabloid debaucle "News of the World." Such stories are about smoke and mirrors and earning big profits from sensationalism, whereas my fictional scenario of what happened to JTR is probably closer to the reality of the case. My first blog entry selected the JTR case because the fame and fortune derived from it came from inept fiction writers pawning fear for profit, instead of opening the door to more realistic opinions as I have done in this blog. Of course the reality of the murdering criminal is really one of some mundane down and outter who cannot sustain much of an existence for very long, and Jack the Ripper probably died in his own element due to an attempt to impress and intimidate a female he thought was much less intelligent and capable than he was. In other words he became careless when attempting to have, own and keep the female of his dreams who could take care of his every need.

Yet the tale of a Jack the Ripper who existed somewhere in the shadows made for good economic development for England in the hay day where publishing books was as profitable to that country as the I-Phone is to the U.S. today. Society tends to run with the money instead of logically trying to find information that's missing in action. And yes, it would have been easier for law enforcement to have investigated better to put closure to the JTR story, but as the recent demise of Rupert Murdoch's "News of the World" indicates, the truth can be manipulated both in the lowest ranks of law enforcement up to the highest levels of political leaders where profits are concerned. The Jack the Ripper scenario which I have provided on this blog is a MIA account based on theory, but is a better explanation than one depicting the self-named killer as a criminal genius he would have liked for us to remember him as. Don't give any serial killer the title of importance they so desperately seek. JTR was only another simple minded bar thug who died violently trying to control women through terror, yet only held his rat infested kingdom for a period of a few weeks.

What is evil is a question many have grappled with since the dawn of civilization. Recently I was told it was undefinable when discussing the subject with another associate. This person attempted to suggest certain societal behaviors such as love, evil, hate as well as many others are beyond definition because every individual sees and experiences these behaviors to different degrees. Of course I disagree with such nonsense.

My opinion is that governments by civilized nations generally use some default premise to define evil based on long held theological definition which is often processed by a judicial system to eliminate mythical spiritual beings who are considered capable of tempting and controlling the darker nature of some human beings. So, at the end of many millennia now we are left with a bunch of legal gunk in the form of laws that may or may not apply depending on the circumstances of upbringing, financial and environmental conditions to determine the degree of punishment for violators. Thus more nonsense compounding long standing and established nonsense.

Without a real scientific and tangible definition of evil all civilizations are left with spongy laws with spongy lawyers who use the vaporous definitions to convert court rooms into circus acts where both judges and juries attempt to use elastic measuring sticks to find the true measure of punishment for such acts as kidnapping, rape and murder. Judges and juries are often confused with circumstances instead of evidence when a violent or illegal act is committed in the case of revenge. Of course many of these acts may never have taken place if there were defined evils with defined punishments where legal recourse had definite and measurable results based on evidence instead of emotion. Many governments are often too strict and punitive due to the same inability to define evil in some concrete tangible form.

Yes, I will define evil and confine it to a strict scientific form but I need to further explain what present definitions are. The short version in a dictionary states evil is: wicked, sin or a source of sorrow or distress. Yet, courts tend to get bogged down in the degrees of sorrow or distress the so-called evil doer has inflicted upon individuals or society. Thus, the circus of jail time or fines levied since we have no set and standard code on an international basis. This brings up the question of why?

Okay, now we are beginning to get down to some nuts and bolts of evil and its roots. The problem is, we have different brands of evil since Christians, Jews, Islamists, Buddhists, etc., disagree as to what evil is, and more often than not, suggest other Godists themselves are evil for disagreeing with their doctrines. And then, there are brands among brands with each trying to spread their interpretation of evil into the legal system to reign supreme over the others. This is not to say some liberal religious systems are not helping by trying to make the world a better place through promoting different and confusing versions based on soft guidelines.

I suppose now you are ready for me to spit out what evil is in my scientific and universal interpretation based on evidence without the bias of religion, politics or national origin. Evil is, hunting other humans. This can be for any number of reasons such as for sex, money or revenge which are generally the usual reasons. The reason why is, because all humans are born with the instinct to hunt to survive. While I gave the top three reasons there is one many criminal experts who rely heavily on psychology will not accept or admit, and that is sport. Some humans hunt other humans and kill them due to having few skills beyond those of our prehistoric ancestors.

Most successful people have honed social skills to fulfill their needs by eliminating hunting from the equation since hunting humans is the fastest path to extinction either by death or incarceration. The hunter human has a very short feeding cycle of about 72 hours for scamming, stealing, raping or murdering someone, and are difficult to convert into normal members of society since this does not lend to those who are not able to concentrate or focus except on making a score or kill. And yes, criminal and evil behavior goes hand in hand.

In the case of those who hunt for sport, such as those who kill spouses or parents when it appears they have nothing more to gain, it is done in order to have that momentary opportunity to pound their chest or reveal their fangs for that brief primal moment when they are all powerful over their environment. So yes, evil is an eternal battle between those who are patient and prefer to work with their fellow humans to fulfill needs and gain power through a consortium of engineered and designed actions to reap long lasting control over their environment. These are the more intelligent based on emotional maturity since they have long ago given up the infantile belief that seeking and demanding control of the "now" only fixes one permanently into a childhood for a lifetime of tears and frustration.

Much has been written about the Whitechapel murders of 1888, more commonly known as the victims of the first world renowned serial killer. From a personal note to the police he self named himself, "Jack the Ripper," the name which sticks with him today since he was never caught. For this to be so famous a case, JTR had few victims compared to those of the modern era where greater urban populations may yield more opportunities for victims of serial killers. It's obvious through simple deduction by any analytical mind that JTR was not the first serial killer, but he was the first globally known enigma to show up on the radar screen of what may be considered the modern era of forensic police investigation. Or perhaps he became so famous due to better communication and publishing methods with reporters who didn't have to do much elaboration to capture and shed gut wrenching awe on the sensibilities of the average world citizen when describing his brutal crimes. I will save one such description until the last of this publication since the details of that murder may cause many to stop reading if I were to include it at this point.

First however, let's ask why I'm revisiting this crime? Yes, Jack the Ripper is old news and there have been many writers and detectives worldwide who have tried to solve this crime, yet none have succeeded. I'm not going to bore the reader with the mundane details of the five women involved as his victims, except to give a short overview of who they were and their names. And then, why does a fiction writer like myself have an interest in this case? Actually, I also write fictional mysteries and I have had a long standing interest in serial killers. Many of my mysteries involve serial killers with very different thinking (a point which I believe makes them more difficult to be detected by normal detective methods), yet thinking that may be rooted in very basic and primal genetics. The most common word used by professional detectives and the general populace is "evil." And evil is another subject I will address in a completely different blog entry in the very near future. So, back to JTR.

The five victims of JTR are:

Mary Nichols, 8/31/1888 - slashed throat.

Annie Chapman, 9/08/1888 - slashed throat - womb cut out as described by police.

Elizabeth Stride, 9/30/1888 - slashed throat - JTR was interrupted.

Catherine Eddowes, 9/30/1888 - slashed throat and disfigured - completed his need for fulfillment on this date.

Mary Kelly, 11/09/1888 - completely butchered and dismembered. Description from that time given at the end of this article.

Now, instead of staying with the so-called evidence (since no amount of evidence has logically solved this crime) I'll write a fictional scenario as to the most logical type person and reason for these killings. And of course, what ever became of Jack the Ripper.

A FICTIONAL RENDITION: Whitechapel bustled with the actions required to survive at the bottom of society where every act was one to make it from one day to the next, giving rise to its 1200 known prostitutes. This was the case of Mary Jane Ellingham (fictional person) who struggled at the bottom of the bottom to find her niche in the myriad of already established and street hardened older women who had long ago established their place among the dark recesses of the night. Ellingham being young, sixteen, and new to the game had met with physical altercations from these older, established women who had on more than one occasion ended in a bout on the ground trying to scratch the other's eyes or pull their hair out. With her youth she was one who could hold her own with any woman, but the biggest problem was that she was outnumbered and the older women had made a pact to take turns on her until she was driven from their area. As it is in most brawls involving workplace territory, these things have a way of working their way out and over time or through diplomatic means such as friendship, allowing a new person to make entry into already claimed cells to work the streets. And then, there may have been more brutal methods employed by the older women who put some of their male tricks up to using the younger Ellingham for sexual favors, and then beating her up and telling her she was far beneath the quality of the more experienced prostitutes they were accustomed to. This might include refusal to pay her on top of attempting to break her spirit while trying to inflict her mind with the fear of being murdered in such a night trade. Humiliated and infuriated Mary Jane Ellingham may have decided to retaliate.

Eventually a man takes notice of Mary Jane. His name is Akim Czernobog (fictional person), a Russian immigrant, one of many diverse ethnic groups inhabiting Whitechapel. He's about thirty-five, a butcher by trade, and he is taken with both Mary Jane's child-like attitudes and yet womanly ways. After she turns him as a trick she explains she had concerns he was but another man who might brutalize her at the instruction of her rival prostitutes. Upon explaining the situation he agrees to protect her if they can live together at his place, and if she provided the needed sexual favors he so enjoyed with her. Mary Jane likes his older, manly yet fatherly overtures and agrees to the arrangement. After a few days of living together Czernobog suggests Mary Jane work the nights while he watches out for her since it does require money to live instead of sexual love alone. Upon doing so Mary Jane is again received with the same resistance as before from some of the local prostitutes, while Czernobog takes notes as to who is trying to thwart his efforts. Mary Jane complains in a fit of rage, wishing these bitches were dead, that someone should cut their hearts out and make an example of them. Czernobog replies that it's an excellent idea, and that he's the man for the job. The young female in the heat and passion of rage asks what he's waiting for.

Czernobog knows of one such rival who is an easy mark. He didn't know her name but Mary Nichols was known to have a love for drinking which made her difficult for young Mary Jane to get along with, yet easy to physically over power by Czernobog. The Russian calls to her from his place in the dark and she instantly enters the shadows with him only to feel the shock of the cold butcher's blade pierce her throat. Being a butcher and knowing from killing many a pig the very same way, there would be neither sound nor struggle. It was August 31,1888, Mary Nichols would be dead in minutes, and maybe the news of her murder the next day would eliminate some of the competition from Mary Jane.

Upon returning back to his apartment, Czernobog washes his bloody hands while gleefully explaining to Mary Jane how he had murdered Mary Nichols in a bloody fashion in order to invoke fear among their competition. Mary Jane at first feels some sickness in the reality of the act, but then finds it a rush into womanhood that she has a real genuine man who killed for her. They are now partners. She rewards him with a very passionate sexual reward more akin to love making than the usual chore of work. The murder may have even turned her on.

Again and again the competing prostitutes challenged Mary Jane, and each time they were met with the final solution as doled out by Akin Czernobog. Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride and Catherine Eddowes all succumbed to the Ripper's knife the following month, providing the fear Czernobog said it would and allowing Mary Jane more freedom to work the streets.

All was going well it seemed, until Mary Jane was beginning to feel more and more like a beast of burden instead of the idolized lover of an older, more mature man willing to do anything for her. Czernobog's increased spending and drinking had fast turned to demands for her to increase the number of tricks she performed every night to meet his ever increasing compulsions. As with any relationship built on revenge, compulsion and sex, the couple's words soon turned into barbed weapons towards one another. This would lead to Mary Jane's threatening to break their verbal contract and her leaving which was fast trumped by Czernobog's knife being held to the young prostitute's throat with several bodies backing up its permanent resolutions. To drive the point home Akim Czernobog tells Mary Jane she hasn't seen anything yet when it comes to his methods for murdering women, noting his next kill will convince her he is all powerful and no one to be challenged.

The following day is 11/09/1888 and the murder, mutilation of Mary Kelly begins to be revealed. The description is beyond anything anyone has ever encountered among civilized peoples anywhere. The coroner's medical explanation went as follows:

The body was lying naked in the middle of the bed, the shoulders flat, but the axis of the body inclined to the left side of the bed. The head was turned on the left cheek. The left arm was close to the body with the forearm flexed at a right angle & lying across the abdomen. the right arm was slightly abducted from the body & rested on the mattress, the elbow bent & the forearm supine with the fingers clenched.

The legs were wide apart, the left thigh at right angles to the trunk & the right forming an obtuse angle with the pubes. The whole of the surface of the abdomen & thighs was removed & the abdominal Cavity emptied of its viscera.

 

The breasts were cut off, the arms mutilated by several jagged wounds & the face hacked beyond recognition of the features. The tissues of the neck were severed all round down to the bone.

 

The viscera were found in various parts viz: the uterus & Kidneys with one breast under the head, the other breast by the Rt foot, the Liver between the feet, the intestines by the right side & the spleen by the left side of the body.

 

The flaps removed from the abdomen and thighs were on a table. The bed clothing at the right corner was saturated with blood, & on the floor beneath was a pool of blood covering about 2 feet square...The face was gashed in all directions the nose cheeks, eyebrows and ears being partly removed. The lips were blanched & cut by several incisions running obliquely down to the chin. There were also numerous cuts extending irregularly across all the features.

Mary Jane was now truly terrified of the man who had named himself as "Jack The Ripper" through a letter taunting the local police detectives. To celebrate his authority and power over women he again demanded what was now the ritual sex from the young female who was no longer sure if it wasn't  the last from her monster keeper. And now, there was the horror of body parts brought back for trophies to remind Mary Jane of what happened when a woman denied him the whim of his madness. There may have been a day or days where she functioned without any human feeling, as though her inner being had turned to stone in knowing she would one day become his victim.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Here is where my living experience comes in to yield more evidence to this scenario. As a former steel worker in some of the toughest neighborhoods in the country, street hardened prostitutes were no stranger since we were men who earned high wages. While I only was with one prostitute in my life while going to college, the later steel worker environment introduced me to a variety of tough women who were very capable of taking care of themselves. It sort of comes with the territory. Many of the men I worked with were drug users, dealers and the tough work environment had led to men shooting, stabbing and killing one another. The prostitutes who had these men as clients were just as inclined to the same behavior. As a writer I'm using my street smarts to fill in the blanks as to what happened to Jack the Ripper. Of course experts would disagree, but experts couldn't survive in the environments that I have, and experts have never solved these crimes. So, go with your gut here.

Mary Jane had learned to grow up fast in the last few weeks. She had seen how quickly life could spin out of control, or end. She knew Akim Czernobog was an impatient demanding man with a short fuse, and he would kill her soon to move on to another young woman. But fortunately for Mary Jane, he did have to sleep sometime, although he made a point of trying to sleep during the day when he was sitting out on the street. However, it was often his habit to drink too much and that also made him as vulnerable as his victims. It would only be a matter of Mary Jane turning a trick to acquire the needed whiskey and let Jack The Ripper drink to his fill. She would leave and pretend to go work the streets while he indulged in the excesses of whiskey she had acquired for the occasion. If all went well he would be very sound asleep when she returned.

A trembling Mary Jane moved as silently as possible as Jack the Ripper slept slumped over on an old wooden kitchen table. He snored loudly which helped her ascertain the degree and depth of his coma-like submersion into insobriety. As was her custom of late she was able to move with the least amount of noise so as to be as nonexistent as possible since disturbing him could invoke his anger. Her fear was such she could barely breathe as she perceived the great knife he used in his trade of butchering, and to murder his victims. It was with the greatest of stealth and reverence for the weapon that Mary Jane picked up the knife and positioned herself behind the Ripper. For a few seconds she hesitated, but then her experience of the past couple of months and being tempered by the night streets of Whitechapel took hold as she put all her strength into driving the great knife downward. The strength from her extreme fear yielded an extreme stroke driving the blade easily through the Ripper's neck to stop deep in the hard oak table. He tried to grab the blade an extract it from his neck, further cutting his hands, but it was only a momentary response as his life blood flowed onto the wooden floor. Within a few short moments it was over.

Unlike Jack the Ripper, Mary Jane didn't want people to know of her deed, so she cut him up into pieces with his great knife and distributed the parts to different sewers and places for burning refuse. After he was completely gone Mary Jane returned to the streets as a prostitute who was now more than capable of taking care of herself. She thought she might someday tell the world the story if she could find a writer to publish the tale. However, Mary Jane was killed in a back alley one night by a competing prostitute and the story of Jack the Ripper went to the grave with her.

EPILOGUE: This fictional scenario of how Jack the Ripper may have escaped legal justice may be the way many serial killers end, with a street justice by those they prey upon, or attempt to prey on.  One thing for sure, any and all criminal investigators today will agree serial killers never stop until they are locked away or killed. And there's no evidence Jack the Ripper was ever captured and imprisoned since all serial killers like to brag to someone about their deeds. Death seems to come with their territory. The fact is, we can never know everything we would like to know about this type of predator since they often target those such as prostitutes or other criminals who actually live among the same shadows. However, as I stated in the above article, serial killers are often described as "evil" by almost all people who learn of their methodical compulsion to murder. The next article in my blog will be on that subject in order to define what evil really is since almost all people can be said to have some evil behavior. I will attempt to define what evil is, and why it is.
